Any artist can tell you that their creative path is neither a straightforward nor a predictable journey.

Over the years I have ventured into painting, writing, directing, photography writing and ceramics. What’s around the corner -even I can’t tell. 

For me, creating is about exploring the world, and revealing the depths of the soul. To create is to be the translator of my soul, a mirror, or even a magnifying glass. It’s a way to understand the world.

As a documentary filmmaker, I love expanding on how other people perceive their passion and life, exploring their context and trying to recreate their worldview. Who is Bulgaria? – a passion project, but still a great example, of my vision as a storyteller.

Stillness is something I dive into as a photographer, mainly focused on street photography and portraits. If life is a meditation, I believe that each moment can be a picture that we can focus on and find something meaningful. We can use it as a pinhole to learn something more about ourselves and what is important to us, what scares us, what we love and what we crave.

I am currently practising my ceramics skills in order to expand my vision into the 3D realm and into Art Installation.
